Adaptive daily reminder time

There’s some other suggestions here about not sending reminders if the day as already been rated, or to send a reminder the next morning if the previous day wasn’t rated - those are awesome suggestions!

When I started with Exist, I set an arbitrary reminder time to 9pm, and have found that in actuality, I’m more likely to rate the day later on, around 10-11pm.

I could manually set the reminder time, and that’s easy. But sometimes I dismiss the reminder, and forget, so I was considering that actively learning when a user creates a daily rating, and learning from their behavior, to then send a reminder 15-20 minutes after their normal rating time window would be pretty cool!

Are you sure you mean to send the reminder after the normal rating time? I believe most people rely on the reminder to rate their day, so wouldn’t this just mean the reminder gets later and later as they open the reminder, rate their day, and then the next one gets set for 15 min later the next day?

Good point! I guess it could work either way - if the prompt is what reminds people to take action, then send it first, but continue to account for when they have actually submitted their rating.
