Correlations based on menstrual cycle date

This might be a huge ask because I don’t think data correlations work this way today BUT: I would love to see the ability to get correlations based on the timing within one’s menstrual cycle.

The use case is that it would let people see trends that vary based on menstrual cycle in more detail than is available today. (For example, maybe you are always in a good mood around day 10 or your cycle, or that kind of thing.)

A potential setup: The system assumes that the first day with a menstrual flow data point is flagged as day 1, and it counts up from there. After a gap where the flow data is 0, the next non-zero entry is day 1 again. Correlations could be drawn based on ranges during that time (eg “your mood is better between days 7 and 10”) or potentially even based on length? (Something like “when you are getting more sleep your cycle is longer”?)

Once custom tracking exists, we could potentially create a field called “cycle day” and just increment it appropriately, but I’m still not sure if that would get any useful data correlations, since “x happens when your cycle date is higher” doesn’t tell us where in the pattern it is.

For now I’m sort of accomplishing this with tags; I take birth control medication that has three different doses, and I have a tag for each one, so functionally I have an early, mid and late cycle tag that I could get correlations from, but it’s definitely not an elegant solution. Would love to see something like this built in, since menstrual cycle timing can affect a lot of factors.
