Allow expenses to be excluded from milestone calculations

Note from team: this was enabled by the new Spending concept introduced in last year. By marking certain expenses as “not spending” you can then use your Spending metric to define your milestone metrics.

Pre-planned big ticket items (e.g., college costs) can be budgeted for, but should probably not throw off FIRE calculations.

What are FIRE Calculations for you?

Would this be the same as saying you want to be able to exclude certain accounts, those that are earmarked for big ticket items, from the Net Worth calculation?

I would like to set up a big expense such as buying a real asset with cash every year until I retire, but I don’t want the purchase expense to affect milestone calculations (because I will stop purchasing those assets at retirement). Is there a way to exclude real asset purchase prices from milestone total expense calculations?
