I am planning to take a 3-year sabbatical from work and have set up two milestones to facilitate this: “Sabbatical Start” and “Sabbatical End”. The “Sabbatical End” is intended to be exactly 3 years after the start date. Currently, I am required to manually adjust both milestones to maintain this 3-year period.

Would like to add a milestone that occurs x# of years before another milestone.

example: End-of-Life Care milestone that occurs 1-yr before my life expectancy milestone

this way I can model in assumed end-of-life expenses (hospice, palliative, sr living center, etc.) as those are large expenses but for a short period of time

Is there actually capability do even do positive year offsets? I understand the difficulty, generally, of negative offsets, but am sick of updating when each kid will end day care, start college, and graduate (all fixed intervals from birth!)

Yes you can already do positive offsets - I already have the day care/college/graduate miletsones all tied to their Birth + x years. when you go to make a milestone, set it to ‘reach milestone’, then select the birth milestone, and then press the dot next to it and select however many years you want

I set a My Birth milestone and when I try to set a milestone to X years after I don’t see that option. Can you explain more how you’re doing it?
