NQDC treated slightly different than 401k. Add ability to select payouts by year (date), etc w/o IRS contribution limits nor RMDs.
This would be a valuable addition since meaningful amounts can be deferred and withdrawn on specific schedules that cannot be revoked.
I agree this would be very useful as these accounts typically have fixed deferred income payout schedules and you tend to collect a set of different accounts with different payout schedules over a career (5/10/15/20 years or lump payout starting at specific age)

This feature would be very useful for me too. Not having it makes projections much more difficult.
Agreed. We are retired bu still have six more years of payouts from a NQDC account we set up while working. Different payment amounts depending on which year too.
