Match inflation limited to +/-X%

Some UK (it may be the case elsewhere) defined benefit pension schema are happily inflation index linked but unhappily are capped at X% e.g UK British Telecom (Section C) pension scheme is linked to consumer price index but its capped at 5%. Earlier employees on section A and B schemes saw their pensions rise by 10.1 but more recent employees only saw a 5% increase

This would also help with Irish Rent Pressure Zones, which apply rent control at Inflation (but capped at a fixed max % per zone). Another application is some annuity incomes common here in europe, which can be inflation linked, but only up to an agreed cap.
