parental leave - increased granularity

It would be cool to have more granular details behind parental leave milestones rather than one year increments. For example if my employer only pays me 3 months of paid parental leave, I’d then apply for government benefits to get another 3 months of parental leave, but at a reduced rate. In the remaining 6 months of the planned 12 months of parental leave, I’d then need to work 2 days a week before needing to go back to work full time. I have this set up currently, but have created lots of milestones and separate ‘jobs’ to separate out each change in income. It would be cool if within a job there was the option to create these granular events without needing to create other jobs/milestones to reflect.

I agree. I was trying to put in my wife’s mat leave/parental leave in but because her leave doesn’t end in January it’s difficult to calculate. Still trying to figure out a way as milestones also only work for years.
