Many Accounts/investments are short-term and therefore don’t need to be modeled throughout one’s lifetime. Example: A certificate of Deposit lives for a fixed number of years. I’d love to see an Account that could be configured to End at a specific future date along with configuration with how to handle the cash flow ejected from the Account upon closure. Let’s say I have $10k Certificate of Deposit with start date of 1/1/23. End date of 12/31/2027. Interest rate of 5%. Principal and Interest are ejected (Cash Flow Inflow) on 12/31/2027 and the account would then be Closed. Principal is $10k, and interest is, let’s say, $2760, so only the Interest would be taxable.
