In Australia, and I suspect elsewhere, contract work is often usually stated as an hourly or daily rate. It would be good to include the number of working weeks in a year as it currently seems to be set to 52 solid weeks of work. It’s possible to calculate the ‘true’ hourly rate if one was expecting to work 46 weeks a year (total taxable income / 52 / hours per week), but it would be helpful to be able to specify the number of weeks worked, not just the number of hours.

An example rate of $160/hr at 40 hours a week would be $332,800 for a 52 week year. A true representation of the real work year of 46 weeks (six weeks off to account for vacations and sick leave), would come to $294k ($160/hr x 40 hours/week x 46 weeks), which translates to around $141/hr with 40-hour weeks ($294K/40h/52w).
