ran into this, thanks for adding. seems like a common inheritance issue for any RE or other assets that could product income or expenses, but not cost anything to acquire.

In addition to a checkbox to indicate an asset as inherited, I’d like to model future inheritance. Something like, “my parents own a commercial investment property currently worth $400K with current rent, property taxes, and expenses of $xxx, $yyy, $zzz. I expect to inherit the property in 10 years.
