I agree, I really really really need to track pollen count and types. I use tags now but it is not the best.

If you live anywhere outside the US or Europe, Dark Sky is awful. The data points available via WU are far superior. Dark Sky doesn’t even give Humidity, which has a massive impact on all kinds of conditions. Without that information – and not to mention the fact that Dark Sky is often wrong – the weather data is practically useless.

Jbp, we’re in Australia which is outside of US and Europe, and Dark Sky is usually quite accurate. It also does give us a humidity value, we’re just not using it yet.

Also, here’s the humidity data from Dark Sky suggestion: https://changemap.co/hellocode/exist/task/1786-humidity-from-dark-sky/

Thanks for the suggestion link. My experience with Dark Sky hasn’t been the same. In the past couple of months it has logged rain on a silly number of sunny days. Most years that would be true at this time of year, but for some reason the climate seems to be changing. My suspicion is this is the problem: https://darksky.net/dev/docs/faq#historical-data But hey, what would I know, I needed to be told I grew up outside the US and Europe.

Yeah, it sucks if you’re outside where it has correct data and it has to guess based on “algorithms”. You’re welcome to add Weather Underground for yourself via the API, by the way! The weather attributes are there for the taking.

Any idea when this might be integrated? I would love to be able to track the air quality and pollen via location. I think this would be a game changer to my health.

Yvonne, this is only a suggestion and not yet planned. I have no details on whether we’ll add it, or when.

Hi guys, as another spring hits the Northeastern United States I would really appreciate Pollen Count tracking.
