I was going to recommend Insight Timer but then I found this.

Why is it not possible? Such a wonderful community and app.

There’s no way for us to get the data from Insight Timer. Apps have to make their data open and available for us to be able to integrate them with Exist.

Belle, Insight Timer does have a new feature that automatically syncs with Apple Health (“Mindful Minutes”). Is there a way to get Apple Health data into Exist?

Ajay, unfortunately I haven’t been able to figure out if I can get mindful minutes out of Apple Health just from reading the developer docs. I’ll need to actually do some testing in the app to see what data I can get about mindful sessions and whether I can get a number of minutes out of Apple Health, but for now we do have a suggestion for this on our changemap that you can vote for here: https://changemap.co/hellocode/exist/task/1551-meditation-minutes-from-apple-health/

This is an example how to retrieve data from the insight timer api : https://github.com/davecahill/beesight

Unfortunately Haider, there is no public API, and this script logs into the insight timer site with the user’s username and password. This is a security issue and a line we’re unwilling to cross. If they add a public API and a better means of authentication, though, we’re happy to reconsider :)

While it’s not as good as insight timer, for the android users who want meditation sessions via Google Fit, I found “Meditation Timer & Log”: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.telesoftas.meditationtimer&hl=en_ZA&rdid=com.telesoftas.meditationtimer
